Montagne is the official sponsor of Tierra Viva Expedition Race, one of the few true challenges in the 2009 calendar of adventure races and which will take place in San Martín de los Andes, from the 23rd to the 28th of march.

Six days, 500km in an epic adventure through the landscapes of Patagonia is the proposition of Tierra Viva, an expedition race that with Montagne's sponsorship seeks a memorable second edition. Guri Aznarez (Race Manager) and his staff challenge teams of 2 and 4 runners to explore their own limits in the disciplines of mountain bike, trekking, kayaking and ropes. A non-stop non-assisted race in which runners will have to trust their compasses and maps, their physical as well as mental endurance, to achieve the mandatory checkpoints and make their way to the finish line.
